Quick question - "Spindle OK" input <resolved>

Post by tomb »

Hi

Making my way through the wiring on my CNC Lathe and i had a quick question on the Spindle OK input. My VFD has quite a few settings for this relay, is it just a simple Run command on the normally closed side?

Cheers

No. If SpindleOk is not "made", it's a fault [1]. It can be inverted if needed

Just to follow on from this, i'm looking at the wiring diagram "S14987-ACORN_rev4_4_BIT_GRAY_CODE_TURRET_LATHE_STANDARD_CONNECTIONS" (Please see attached)

Why do you need a Drive OK and Spindle OK?

Drive OK is for the axis drives and Spindle Ok for the Spindle
