The Oak and ACDCs would be the retrofit option for those servomotors, the old drives would not be used. We have the PID info for those servomotors. Does it say Pulse Coder on the servo data-plate? If so the encoders can be reused as well.

Meaning he recommended and sold you the system and now won't support you?

Centroid has now answered your question. It seems you can not use the original Fanuc drives and you need to purchase the Centroid AC/DC drives. Significant added expense.

Marty

Liviu told you you can't reuse the original drives. You need to purchase the Centroid AC/DC drives. You'll also need to know how to set them up.

It sounds like at first you were going to have the conversion done, and now you want to do it yourself.
Have you electrical/electronic experience and the knowledge of typical CNC control wiring in order to carry out the conversion successfully?

No need for the old Fanuc drive manual. You've been told those old drives may not be reused.

Good,
And I have a video on setting up a FANUC motor with AC/DC drives. Go to YouTube and search for Fanuc Centroid AC/DC
You had better reach out to Centroid for pricing....
Also, you don't need the flying lead drive cables for the Centroid AC/DC Servo drives.
