I know this question has been asked and answered but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
I'm about to upgrade my 3 axis CNC router to the Acorn 4 controller. I have 3 NEMA 23 motors and thats it in the way of power requirements except of course for the Centroid controller.
My question is do I need more power than the power supply that comes in the kit? I've watched videos and it seems all are using additional power supplies. If I do need more power can I use a switching PS instead of 2?
This is my first time doing this and I've looked at most of the Centroid docs and I'm a big fan of MartysCNCGarage and I've learned a lot but just trying to make this first go a painless/success.
Thanks,
Peter

Re: Acorn 4 Power supply
You will need a separate and adequately sized power supply to provide current to your stepper drivers.
