Drive fault 9031 on ACORN CNC12
One member suggested doing wiring through DB 25 plug, just stared project going to put on small bench lathe

please always post a fresh report.zip when requesting support
and yes, most stepper motor drives perform better on the DB25 connector. use a break out board to make the wiring easier. like the one here.

You know about the diagnostic screen in CNC12 correct?
Press the Alt i on the keyboard to toggle it on and off
Top line, far left, of virtual LED's are the INPUTS
Second line, far left, of virtual LED's are the OUTPUTS
Now,
When you Start and Reset CNC12 all is well until you try and command a move? When you do, the drive itself is faulting correct?
You said blinking LED's
You also say it was working DAY one but now not. What did you do differently?
Press the Alt i on the keyboard to toggle it on and off

Also,
You have 1600 steps per motor rev set up in Axis configuration.
Do you have the drive setup for 1600 steps? Post a picture of the dipswitches and please post a link to the drive manual.
