How to changing Axis connection in "Axis Drive Type?" (Resolved)

Post by muibubbles »

So my acorn board died (gen 2 pre removable connectors) and I just got it replaced. When I upload my last save report the machine doesn't move. I'm trouble shooting the steppers/drivers and I'm digging into the wizard to double check everything. I notice under Primary System > Axis Drive Type > Automation Direct KL-5080H that the connection is set to DB25 Connector (Which is also H6 correct?) However I am not using the DB25 connector and using the screw terminals up top. How do I switch the connector type? Or does the newer boards require me to use a db25 connector?

Thanks
-Benny

Go into DB25 mapping and change the signal from DB25 to header.

Also, did you install the latest software and the try and restore from an old report?

Did you have screenshots from your previous CNC12 install?

ALWAYS post a fresh report when asking ng for help

Thank you Marty, Some of the guys on the facebook group point the DB25 connector tab out to me as well.

I believe it is the latest software but i'll be honest I don't keep up with the updates as much as I should... I did restore the last report from when the machine is working which is why I was confused on this setting.

Changing the DB25 connector to- screwtype solved everything!
