Is there anywhere to find if they are supported or does anyone know the answer.
Thanks

Post a link or a pdf of the manual and we'll take a look.
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

As Tom advises, see if you can locate the Heidenhain documentation for them.
Newer Heidenhain scales most commonly have "1V P-P" output -- presumably 1V sine and cosine wave forms. Some older ones had sine and cosine current signals at some small number of mA. Some Heidenhain scales natively output what Heidenhain calls "TTL", which is the 5V differential quadrature square wave that Oak requires.
Heidenhain offers signal converters to convert the sine/cosine signals to TTL square waves. If I understand the nomenclature, "EXE" units are for the current-mode scales, and "IBV" units are for the voltage-mode (1V P-P) scales. So, if you have an EXE or IBV box that matches your scales, you are probably good to go.
I assume, here, that you are looking at using it for secondary feedback or manual-axis feedback, and that you have suitable rotary encoders on your servo motors.

for some reason I am unable to make it a link. But if you copy and paste the above it should bring you to the page you need. The page I think you need is page 39.
Thanks

Sorry, but I could not locate the LS404 in that catalog link.
Cheers,
Tom

If you go to:
https://www.heidenhain.com/en_US/docume ... /infobase/
... and enter "LS 404C" in the search box, a list of products comes up. That list indicates that LS404C scales have an 11μA P-P current-mode output.
If they are in good working order, you should be able to use them. You would need to install an EXE-series interface box for each scale, such as the EXE 101.
