Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
I'm having troubles understanding how to connect my Seconded Relay wires and the HLFB Green wire to the Acorn board see schematic S14972 DWG below.
if any body has some knowledge about Clear Path and the schematic . Or if Centroid has an adapter for this area. This small red circle on the schematic is for the connection of the ribbon cable of the Relay Board. I do not want to be soldering wires to the Acorn board. Any advice would be appreciated.(Note: Liking will "up vote" a post in the search results helping others find good information faster)

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
I ordered 24V 4 channel relay boards from Amazon. Gary Campbell has a few posts explaining how to wire them. I set up my CNC router for 4 Axis with 5 motors requiring two additional 4 channel relay boards. In effect the Drive OK is daisy chained thru the two relay boards until there is a fault.

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
is showing. Also can I us the relay boarded 1 schematic in RogDC post? Also do I change the +24VDC to +5VDC ? and do I Use Hi or low on the board

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
Is there any reason I can't get a reply? I don't think I have offended any body this is my second post that hasn't gone any where I need help.

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
You can use either. ClearPath is compatible with both. I was using 5 volt as the example drives required 5 volts.
The above schematic should work using the block terminal text. Not sure about the labels to the right
If connecting the green (HLFB+) wire to the relays, then the red (HLFB-) would go to COM, the relays would be set to low

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
Lkloyd, I just didn't see your post over the weekend.
I used a +24VDC version of the board as I didn't have anything else that ran on +5VDC and changed out my Acorn PS to a Meanwell DIN Rail Mount for space constraints in my cabinet.
I used two relay boards since I was configuring my machine for 4 axis with 5 motors and needed 5 inputs, and manual squaring on the Gantry. "RB2" is Relay Board 2. One relay board will be adequate for 4 motors, however I required two for my configuration.
The Hi and Lo jumpers set the board to which state the input wire is in to activate the relays. Hope this helps.

Re: Second Relay for Clear Path Motors
Sorry I wasn't trying to be rude. I thought that other persons could help. I thought this was a forum and Centroid had some one that monitored it and answered questions to. sense the Acorn board is there product.
