I think I need to move my stepper controls to the db25 header.
Can someone explain the connection to me plz?

the db25 connection has:
output
input
step
direction

Here is my current setup:
On H2 of acorn board:
H2->step1 to stepper driver pulse -
H2->Direction1 to stepper driver direction -
H2->Enable1 to stepper driver Enable-
H2->common to common terminal in control box

How to move the above setup to a db25 breakout board?

Thanks for the help.

You are not providing enough information. We can't "SEE" what you "SEE"
What make and model drives are you using? Post a link to the manual.
(Guessing at your drive hook up):
You should provide +5vdc to the
+Pul
+Dir
+Ena
terminals of the drives. You can get that from the Acorn Power Supply that ships with Acorn.
Then you take:
-Pul
-Dir
-Ena
and connect them to the Acorn Header terminals Step, Dir, ENA
You take +Alm from all drives and connect to an INPUT usually Input 5 and assign to DriveOk
You then take -Alm and connect it to Acorn Power Supply COM

The above is "TYPICAL" for a 5V logic drive to be connected to Acorn Step Dir headers

Please provide the information I asked for, link to your drive manual.

I do have the +5vdc going to +PUL,+dir,+Ena on the drivers. They are connected to the acorn header terminals on H2. I want to connect it to the db25 on acorn board and not H2. My stepper motors run and my machine works the way it is wired now. But the stepper motors have "glitches" from time to time. And I think its becuase I need to hook up my stepper motors to the DB25 connection.

Here is my driver manual:

Glitch defined as sometimes when I am using my centroid wireless MPG, direction is reversed then can go back to normal sometimes. For the most part my machine seems to be great, ive turned the pawn. So I think I just need to move my connections to the DB25.

I just left for lunch, when I get back I will post a report.

That is what I was looking for, thank you.
I am going to wire it up to the db25 using this schematic and hopefully my problems will be solved.
I also uploading a report.

I looked at your logs. I believe you must have been tinkering with Screw Comp tables. You should clear these before making any other changes.
Learn to look at your log files. F7 Utilities F9 Logs, I think its F1 Errors.

I haven't done anything to screw comp tables on this machine.

I wasn't able to get the db25 connections to move the motors at all. But I did notice some lose connections on one of my stepper drives. It was "arcing". I tightened the loose connection and all seems to function properly again. I guess this was my problem idk.

Im not sure what would be going on with comp tables as I havent touched any settings there. I'll look into it however. Thanks

EDIT* I went into the m comp table and cleared it and saved. It did have values in it. Should be good now.
