I don't see a LIMITALL as a option in the inputs to assign IN2 too.
X to the right, Y to me and Z up

I am not where I can look at my Acorn, but if I remember correctly you can select the down arrow next to the General Purpose (middle top of the input page) and select limits. That should narrow down the list. It may also be on the list if you scroll the list down on the right side of the list.

I haven't tested anything yet as I am re-wiring the main PS switches and moving the mill into better place. I never ran the table to its extremes before, need more space.

Re: Robotool retro
I have a few questions. Do I create a new post for each one or can I do it on this post? I have a couple more questions I'll save till I hear about proper procedures before posting more.
1) How do I prevent an over run of the table, G0X12 for example? It is over traveling by about .002" but the DRO on CNC12 says 12.0000". If I stop .005" short and incremental to 12" no issue. I think there is some table inertia I am seeing. Y stops violently but I don't see the inertia more than half thou or so.
2) I would like the oiler to not come on during this testing. I set it to manual 0 time and when I save and restart CNC12 it remembers setting but when I restart Acorn it looses and it goes back to the top radio button. I have a Bijur TM5 oiler and it gives a shot every 6 mins.
I'll get a fresh report when I get to the machine.

I'll get a fresh report when I get to the machine.
1) You have not fine tuned your machine if it is not accurately moving. See attached on Fine DRO Adjustment.
2) Follow this tech bulletin for setting up Lube Pumps in General: https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersuppo ... ds/171.pdf
You did not post a report, so I can not test your Wizard lube setting issue. ALWAYS post a FRESH CURRENT report when asking for help.
(You might select CUSTOM and leave it set to 0/0 and see if that works or in the Diagonstics page, Alt+i, go to the output and press CTRL+ALT+F until there is a bar showing over the LED, this disables the output. BUT REMEMBER to turn it back on, by pressing CTRL+ALT+F until there is NO bar showing)

There is a low oil pair of wires on the pump but I don't have them hoked up to the ACORN. They are tied together.

If you are gaining .002" then it sounds like you might be gaining steps? It appears you are using DG4S drives? If so, they should close the servo loop. If Acorn commands the machine to go 12", then DG4S should drive the motor to position and it should be monitoring the encoder to ensure it does so. No more, no less.
What did you use as a standard to setup the axis? Mechanically is the machine sound over its full travel distance? Its always better to calibrate the machine over a long distance vs. a very short distance.
You should consider upgrading to version 4.50

Re: Robotool retro
The machine is in primo condition. I would have to break out the tenth indicator to see any movement in tram or table flatness or squareness. This was a locally built machine with 84 Taiwan castings model 2VH and was little used to make wooden puzzle boxes. With Y extended fully loosing and tightening knee I barely see movement more than a few tenths that far out too.
So it is gaining steps at 100 ipm and stopping quickly at 12 but not if I fast to 11.995 and increment the last .005"? I would think that it would be gaining steps throughout the 11.995 travel as well. I have not checked for differences in travel starting and stopping at different spots to check for lead screw wear differences. There is about .0043" backlash as far as I can tell in the middle of X travel.
So you don't think this is an inertia thing and backlash wear?
I am using 123 blocks just like your video. Mine aren't as nice though and don't ring out like yours. THX for the vid. 12,9 and 4". I don't have a better standard than that.
