I have finally managed to make the tormach tts to work with centroid CNC. I was struggling with that thing for ovr 2 months and finally took courage to open the device and rewired it. Turns out that I give up the LED (it just complicates and does not do anything useful) and now it is working.
Repeatability is 0.005mm. I took 10 measurements of each of my 30 tools = 300 measurements to assure that. My machine is now spot on with in 0.01mm tolerance. I am happy now.
