Re: A new Centroid CNC Kinematic Machine Tool Touch Probe will soon be available.
Thanks Kieth!
$600 is within range since the probe is one of the tools I use the most and being able to trust the instruments is vital. I have an old one that was bought from CNC4PC that have been OK but i had to modify it a little and it is also not as repeatable as I would like.
Looking forward to the release date - put me on the list of potential buyers

$600 is a good target.
Are the internals similar to the DP4-DP7 probes? I have damaged our DP-4D beyond repair and always liked the ease and consistency of adjustments for eccentricity and angle.

Keith, did Centroid run out of the KP-3 probes already?! The site said "OUT OF STOCK", just one day after the probe became available!cnckeith wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 5:23 pm The KP-3 is now available on the website for sale! here is the link to get yours today.

Re: A new Centroid CNC Kinematic Machine Tool Touch Probe is now available.
Wow sold out in 24 hours. I think maybe making the probing routines available in the licence upgrade might have helped with the brisk sales. It certainly made me upgrade sooner than planned.
Is there any reason why the new probe could not be used on the All in 1 DC board? It would be nice to able to use the probe on more than 1 type of control board.
