Just hooked up multi meter and it puts out 7.24v then just creeps up to 10.24v over the next few seconds. Any idea?
Do you ONLY have the meter probes on the ACORN Analog output terminals with NOTHING else attached? NO wires to the VFD?
You followed the procedure in my video:
Please take pictures of your machine, control cabinet, what VFD drive, what motor, how the drive is connected to Acorn etc.
Yes I put spindle speed to 1000. Got 250=2.55, 500=5.05, 750=7.53, 1000=10.1. Its only in run mode. Mdi works perfectly. Manual works great. Seems to be in intercon some how. I dont have another way to make the code or I would try that too.

Good, Acorn analog spindle output seems to be OK.
I assume you are running a VFD. Have you tuned and adjusted it per this post: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=1650
Please attach the G code created by Intercon as well as the Intecon file.
Have you opened the Gcode posted by Intercon and looked at the Swords to see if they are posted as you expect?
If you type an M3S1000 in MDI and Intercon posts the same, the result should be the same.
You can prove/test by simply creating a simple text file with just M3 S1000, it should run the spindle at 1000 RPM

I'm not at my machine. It doesnt have Wi-Fi. And I do all this on here with my phone. vfd is setup correct. With the intercon I just did a simple turn job because this is my first cut With the lathe I built. All I did was a simple 1" stock, turn face z+ .050,z-0, .02 pass, x1.05 to x.75, z-.25. .006 rough css, s800. It starts out at 800rpm then goes to 1500 rpm before the tool even gets to the first face pass. I'm sure its something in doing in intercon. New to this.

Turn CSS off and see if it stays constant. With CSS on, spindle speed will not stay constant on a facing cut. My guess is the Max spindle speed for that tool is set to 1500.
Cheers,
Tom

here are two different ones. names are nothing but both done in intercon, both same results.
G96 Constant Surface Speed is turned on in both of those programs. Tom is correct, by design as the cutter get's closer to center its going to speed up. UP to a max RPM of 1500.

Yes I get that but even when I had it turning od on 2-1/2" first pass was still max speed. It just goes max speed reuardless where cutter is. Css is the reason I chose acorn. I want it to work. I know it has to be some setting just need to find it.
