CNC 10 Mill v2.68 M400 (Non-Windows)
Is it possible to attach a Operator's Control Panel or Remote Hand Wheel Pendent to a CNC 10 Mill v2.68 M400 (Non-Windows) Machine?

You can get an MPG handwheel pendant for that system. Part number is 10808.
You cannot connect an external jog panel pendant unless you disconnect the one that is built into the console. There can only be one jog panel at a time.

Has anyone tried to install sperate MPG for each axis instead of using the penedant? I have an M400 controller running version 7 DOS software.

Assuming you have a CPU7P5 or CPU7P5S board (with five encoder inputs), and assuming you have a three-axis mill, and assuming you do not have a spindle encoder, then you could set up two MPG handwheels.
This is often done on lathes.
Since each such handwheel requires an encoder input, you do not have enough encoder inputs to do three axes with three MPG handwheels.

I am ending the upgrade of the CNC mill Mikron WF31D.
Since I had to give up on the gear box using a VFD to control the spindle rotation.
The only way to mount an encoder is on the spindle shaft using a THROUGH HOLLOW SHAFT encoder.
the selected model is: 100H-45-8000-ABN-R05-SC8.
That should be a incremental 8000 counts per revolution encoder.
Since the cost is over 500€, I would like to have the confirmation if
that model in compatible with the OAK controler?
Please have a look at the catalogue uploaded.

Electronically, that should work.
Generally, when an encoder manufacturer lists "ppr" ("pulses per revolution"), they mean the number of lines, or full cycles, per revolution. The quadrature counts seen by the Centroid control is 4x that number. See http://www.cncsnw.com/Quadrature.htm
Assuming that is the case here, then a 1024-line or 2048-line encoder would probably be a better choice for a spindle encoder, unless your spindle only runs at low speeds (say, below 2500 RPM).

I instaled the encoder at the mill spindle.
Made the configuration procedure using the cnc program spindelbenchtest.cnc.
It works well, only the rpm do not coincide with the mdi inserted comands.
For example m3s100. the encoder spindel rpm value shown at cnc 12 is 80 rpm, m3s200. shows 160 rpm
m3s500., shows 400 rpm and so on until 3000 rpm. The shown rpm is lways circa 20% lowe that the inserted rpm.
Is there any procedure or parameter that I am not using properly?
Or I have to run the spindelbenchtest.cnc again and insert 20% less voltage values for each requsted rpm to try calibrating the spindle real rpm?
Please have a look and let me know.

You probably have the spindle speed override turned down. Press the "100%" key in the spindle-control section of the VCP.

You have your max spindle high range set to 2800 rpm.
