Re: 411 "X,Y,&Z axis (2) error
What happens is that it says "run". The axis motor turns about 1 rev. and the load goes all the way over to the red zone then an E-stop is generated and an Error code 411 comes up.

Try and set Pn200 to 2000 in all 3 of the drives. (note what the value is before changing it. (Was it set to 16384?)MRW wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 4:35 pm Thanks for laying that all out. All this has been done. I have now called Centroid and they have come on via Team Viewer and also are stuck with it. They are now doing some bench tests themselves to see what is going on. I am thinking it may have something to do with the "D" designation of the motor sequence or something.
I am at a loss what to do now so I will keep fooling around with it and or wait till I hear back from Centroid.I need to get this machine going. Hopefully we can come up with some solution.
Then in CNC12, Set the encoder count on all three axis to 8000.
Check Pn300, that is supposed to be your motor RPM/10. I think your motors are 3000rpm motors so it should be set to 300
Give it a try, can't hurt.

Re: 411 "X,Y,&Z axis (2) error
Ok thanks again for trying. I made the changes as you mentioned but still got the same results. It did seem to work a bit better and it is now generating a error 410 as well as 411. Also I noticed that if I tried to move the axis with the mpg at .010 I could make the shaft turn for a bit but the second that I slowed down the handle dial I would get the error.
Any more thoughts I am ready for them.

I'm out of thoughts.MRW wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 10:45 pm Ok thanks again for trying. I made the changes as you mentioned but still got the same results. Id say go back to putting 16834 if thats what it was in Pn200 multiply that by 4 and put it in the encoder resolution in CNC12
Hopefully Centroid will get it set up on the bench, configure and update the steps. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Without a system myself I can't do anymore other than follow the TB291. Maybe if there is a way to set the drives to their factory defaults and then start again? Just to make sure there isn't any erroneous data in the Estun drives? I DO hope you report back when the issue is resolved and what the problem was.
Marty

Re: 411 "X,Y,&Z axis (2) error
It seems that since TB291 was written, the factory default setting for Pn005 Hex1 has changed. This needs to be set to a "0" for Velocity Mode.
For an "EMJ" motor Pn005 should be set to "0000".
For an "EMJ" motor Pn005 should be set to "0000".

Ok Thank-you very much. It appears that this resolved this issue. Now I need to go through the tuning process.
