With the Encoder Pawn it using consent surface speed. (CSS). Looking at your report the Default of the max RPM for G50 for Intercon is set to 2000. The G50 is used to set the max RPM when using the CSS G96. When you go into Intercon there is the Setup F9. You can set the Default for the Max RPM for you machine for G50. When you are writing a program in Intercon your can also set the Max RPM for each tool at a lower value in the Tool Library. On the right side there is the Max Spin for each tool when you use CSS. If you are running in RPM mode G97 for the cutting cycle with Intercon the G50 will not be used for max RPM. In the post from Intercon you will see different S (spindle) speeds if you are using CSS. With the G96 this is Feet per minute when running in inch mode. G96 is modal. After the first one if the CSS changes there will only be a Sxxx for the CSS speed. If you change back to RPM there will be a G97 with the S and vise versa going from G97 back to G96. If the max RPM for that tool changes there will be a G50 Sxxx with the max RPM for that tool and will stay modal until another Max RPM is called out with the G50.
