No problems yet on 2 machines, followed the vid & all went smoothly.
One a PM25v clone conversion
Other Scratch built VMC
Thanks,
Michael

So far it appears mine is up and running under 4.14. 1956 11" Logan lathe conversion:

Image

It's not complete yet- is anything like this every truly complete? - but it appears to be currently fully functional. Can't say I've given it a really good test yet, as I'm still very much in the "what does this button do, again?" stage of learning how to run a CNC... well anything, really. :D But It's successfuly run several pawns, and I've so far successfully run the first of the Intercon tutorials.

I wish I could be a lot further along at this point, but I have a LOT of other projects in the works these days.

My DIY CNC Router is working fine. Only issue is tool touch off. It isn't clear from the thread if this:

"<cnckeith update>
In-process M6 Tool Change Macros compatible with Acorn CNC12 v4.14"

means that those are updated for v4.14, or if they are going to be updated. Could just try it, just haven't gotten to it yet.

the macros have been updated for use with v4.14.. "in process" refers to doing tool touch off's in the middle of a G code program.

You're correct as usual Marty. I think the reason I wasn't seeing it was that the DB25 menu selection is visible after choosing the Leadshine button but goes away when the button changes to "Custom Leadshine" after manually mapping I/O's using screen shots from the old version. I didn't do a re-install from scratch to verify my assumption but I think that was the issue.

I'm not perfect!😉
But willing to try and recreate things given enough information.
