Is it possible to set up the Acorn control controller, with MillPro software, to successively run a CNC plasma table? I am retrofitting an existing 4' x 8' table, and replacing everything that was motion control on it. My plasma is a Thermodynamics Cutmaster 101. I have already purchased the Acorn controller, and MillPro software. What are the steps to take? Also, next will be the installation of THC system.. Any recommendations? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!!

Re: Centroid Acorn 4 axis controller for Plasma use
I looked over the pages(s) that you mentioned, but my problem is adapting the Acorn software to actually have THC, and how to control it. Tech support tells me that my setting up an output a Macro, it will turn on/off the THC. Also, they tell me that once this is done, the THC will take control of the Z axis, integrating the floating head, and its limit switch, to then fire the plasma torch, between cuts. That's what I am after: how to set up the Z axis for plasma..

P.S.: i scanned over all of the any projects that you posted on YouTube. Very impressive!!! You're a real pro with the Centroid systems!!!
