We need help with several items which I cannot find in the manual:
Using the Intercon program interface we need to know where to put the commands into a program for
1- Turn on and off the coolant in a program
2- Change from CSS to RPM, we are more familiar with RPM than CSS
3- After a program is completed but BEFORE the tool returns to the home position we need to pause it to move the tailstock out of the way and then return to home. (The switch on the tailstock does not stop the cross slide from returning to the home position and pushes the tailstock back away from the chuck. So, if we can pause the system while we manually move the tailstock it would work.
We may have more questions later but these are the ones that have come up for now.
Thanks

On the lathe, coolant is controlled from the tool setup menu which should be "F2 Tool" on any of the insert operation menus within Intercon, or you can edit it from "F1 Setup"/"F2 Tool Offset". Coolant type is the last column in the tool table row.
To change from CSS to RPM, just hit "F1 Spin Mode" when on the spindle speed input box in Intercon.
To add an optional stop to the program at the end, insert an operation just before the last "End Prog" line and press "F10 Other" then "F2 M&G Code" and then type in "M00" in the input box. This will stop and wait for the operator to press cycle start before continuing.

John,
One other thing about your tailstock. If your machine has a tool changer or turret, then that is probably what you want, but if you have a toolpost and are manually changing tools, you can change the start point/return point of your program.
The easiest way to set them is to move the tool to the position you want to start/end you program, then press "F1 Setup"/"F1 Part"/"F9 WCS Table"/"F1 Return". Copy the X and Z values from the DRO into the G28 (Return #1) coordinates and press "F10 Save".
Now when you run your program it will start from those coordinates, and return to them when finished. That way you will not have to pause the program at the beginning or end to reposition your tailstock.
