Axis won't back off limits, hey Riley! Fixed it.

For the future suffers....

Scott. I finally figured out why all three of my axis would not back off of the limits. I was reading old posts by Riley (Riley, Hope you got yours fixed by now), and started checking the brains. The continuous jog brains are wrong. I noticed that the OEM Trigger Inputs on the left did not match what the mach manual had in table 5-1. I changed them and inverted the last rung for my y axis, I guess since it was reversed. Now using the keyboard buttons and only the keyboard buttons I can jog off my limits for all three axis.

I am not sure if it is right but it works now. Now why won't m92 work?????????

I am having the same issue.

Does anyone know if this is the solution for moving off limit switches or just a 'work around' for joyboard jogging.

Thank You for the post!

Anthony,

They were using a different type system. This doesn't apply to your system. Please see my response to you other post.
