Sounds good. Now that I have an extra proximity sensor, does anyone know if the new CNC12 version 5.40 will natively support a "ToolClamped" sensor?
ToolClamped input will be available for Acorn/Acornsix in V5.40.00. Hickory already has the input.
Though adding a check in the current v5.30 macros to check whether the input is made or not is very simple as well.

Yes, I was rather unhappy when the initial design did not work. After you sent me the link from Automation Direct, I downloaded the 3D model of the proposed proximity sensor. By the time I got the new sensor, I had already redrawn the brackets, spacers etc. It all fit together perfectly.

I am late to the party and its not what you want to hear but I highly suggest you do not put the sensor under the tray. I had mine tucked under and a chip triggered it and the mill grabbed the wrong tool. This happened twice before i put it on top, I am talking twice per thousands of tool changes but it just takes one time for a bad day. I still have the vise jaw with a 3/8 hole in it

Wow... I never would have thought about that. Thanks for the heads up. Do you mind sharing an image of how you accomplished moving the sensor up top. I can't imagine an easy fix for this at all.
The only thing I can think of is use a double shaft stepper motor and put the proximity sensor and cam on the other side of the stepper. I just need to
think a creative way to do this.
