Acorn6 trying to access the Wizzard and it locks up the system? <cnc12 is running a job>
We have finally gotten the 3 axis's to sort of work.
X and Y fine, with Z we jumper the Enable X axis to the Z axis and it works.
But, we cannot access the Configuration Wizzard?
When we try we get this screen shot and below is the Report after this happens.
The machine is not doing anything else in the background.
How can we fix this?
Best Regards,
Preston

See tech bulletin #270. Here's a link:

Your error log is littered with communication errors and it can cause all kinds of problems.

Re: Acorn6 trying to access the Wizzard and it locks up the system?
I would suggest installing CNC12 v5.30 and going from there:

As well as solving the communication issues as ShawnM pointed out.

this message is letting you know that you have CNC12 in a RUN MODE, so it is running a G code job.PrestonE wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 8:13 pm report_0008DC111213-1010220080_2025-07-22_19-04-47.zipHello,

the Wizard can not work with CNC12 while CNC12 is running the machine/g code job.
exit MDI or exit/cancel the G code job being run so the Wizard can interact with CNC12.
