Thanks again for your time, I'll need to use Google lense to translate the Chinese to check dip switches. Ill do that this evening.

My inputs are all functional and the machine auto homes great.

My vfd is setup, along with my tool touch off, and coolant pump.

So I just realized you guys are referencing the INSTALL manual.
I have been looking at the user manual....

There's a USER manual?

My bad, I guess I could have shared a link with you for the INSTALL manual.

Thankfully you don't need to translate anything to check the DIP switches. That part is written in English. According to your photos in your album your drives are set to 1600. If you have not made any changes since you uploaded the pics of the drives to your album you are good to go.

And don't forget to post a fresh report for the forum to look at.

Okay, dip switches are correct for 1600.
Here is the new report.
Thank you guys!

Just fyi, I'm a little SW of Houston. Sounds like you have made lots of progress. As long as you look at one thing at a time, it's not overwhelming. If you look at the whole picture and nothing is going good, then yes it can drive you crazy.

You'll also want to go back and preform the "fine" DRO calculations for each axis and dial in the overall turns ratio. This procedure is in the INSTALL manual. :D

You have 2.5 for the Z axis and it should be 2.54xxxxx for a 10mm pitch ball screw. If you have the Z this far off the X and Y likely are as well. I know you are just chopping wood and you may think it's close enough but the distance that you are off is multiplied the further you travel. Move a few inches and you may not notice it but travel the full length of the table or Z travel and you'll see that it's off.

The reason I suggest you dial in the FINE DRO settings again is because you have X and Y exactly the same at 1.35. It's mechanically impossible for them to be exactly the same. Carry it out 4, 5 or six decimal places for the best accuracy. Again, I know you are just chopping wood but the farther you travel the further it'll be off. Just food for thought.

Thank you!
100% going to dial in the turns ratio, probably several times, I build furniture mostly but i do machine non ferrous metals from time to time. so id like it to be as close as possible.

Can anyone help with expediting the license issuing process? Trying to make my wife something for her birthday on friday and i just purchased the pro license..

I usually get the license the next business day. I don't wait until I'm ready to cut before ordering it though.

Understood. I did not realize there was a 50kb limit on files in the free version until I tried to cut!

Several times is the minimum if you want accuracy. I use my small 3x5 router for aluminum only and it' crazy accurate...but it also has ball screws.

A few 1-2-3 blocks and a digital caliper will get your turns ratio very accurate.

As Ken stated, license files are typically next business day.

They're here! Honestly, ser up and calibration of machinery is one of my favorite things. Software and electronics are my weaknesses. ..and patience...

I can get a 1940 powermatic planer singing harmony no problem! Introduce a computer and im toast. Im only 33, but ive just never really learned to use computers and software effectively. Anyway, Time to get this thing dialed in! The install manual is super helpful! Wish someone would have told me... haha.
