WNPG And VCP Jog
I have been using the WNPG for moving the axis of my machine around and and setting up parts. This passed weekend I decided I wanted to use the VCP and I found that I could not change the increment distance on the VCP, it would stay on what ever the WNPG was last set to even if the WNPG knob was turned to off. Is this normal or does there need to be a PLC or a parameter change.

Re: WNPG And VCP Jog
Looking at the PLC code, it looks like you would need to disable the WMPG in the parameters to have the control not follow the X10, X100 from the WPMG.

Re: WNPG And VCP Jog
That does not seem right.
Wasn't the design intent -- to which the PLC code should have been written -- that the WMPG would take over the fast/slow, incr/cont and x1/x10/x100 controls only if the axis-select knob is on a valid axis (or at least, not OFF)?

Re: WNPG And VCP Jog
Thank you for looking into it, I appreciate the help. I would have thought I could enable and disable the WNPG using the MPG button on the VCP or switch from one to the other. Is not not possible to have functionality of both the VCP and WMP

Re: WNPG And VCP Jog
I just wanted to follow up to see if there are any ideas on how I can have the option to use either the WNPG or the VCP

Re: WNPG And VCP Jog
This looks to be a small oversight when your PLC was updated.
I'm going to DM you and get this taken care of.
