My centroid control PC decided to do a windows update this afternoon. After that, every time I try and start a program in CNC12 Mill, I get a 9045 Z Axis Drive Fault error. The system no longer moves. Was working all week without issue. The timing coinciding with a windows update is too suspicious. Any ideas what this error code even means? Drive displays are not showing any faults.
I have tried everything I could from Tech Bulletins 270 and 309 without success.

Re: 9045 Z axis fault
This is one of the MANY reasons why your CNC PC should NOT be connected to the internet. A fresh report is needed to help you.

Re: 9045 Z axis fault
You can use a restore point before the update if you think the update is responsible for the problem.
