The bad thing is it can't transfer as much torque as an equivalent "normal belt", s you might need a wider one to accommodate for it. Good that mine has room for a 60mm belt. From the quick data i could find, that should be good enough for the peak torque of my machine.
i've built tensioners for increased torque transfer on multi vee setups.
That makes sense. I might build something once it is up and running.

Actually, they can transmit significantly more Hp for the same mass. I've added idlers in the middle of my long belt span on my lathe to control whip. Same principle as a tensioner.

Good to hear. I there is not much distance between the servo and the spindle so it is probably fine. Worst case just DIY something.
My servos get delivered tomorrow  . I guess it is a good moment to work on the e-cabinet this weekend.
As my construction project at home is on hold as it has been pouring these past few days. My foundation hole has turned into a swimming pool.

Hey all!
The servos have arrived. And a few hours later it was all working!
Now I need to nudge Keith and the centroid team to get the Delta C2000(+) working with ethercat

Next step will be to make the panel for my e-cabinet. Mount it all in there ... and get the machine moving.

I will upload my testbench video tomorrow.

I think I'll be ready to use it in about a week or 2-3.
Busy with renovations at home

we finally got a tracking number for the C2000 e card and the M300 drive, should have them this week.
