I have configured the settings in the Wizard before copying over my custom macros from the previous version and the probing folder . I'll try to copy the custom macros before configuring in the wizard next time.

we duplicated it in cnc preferences.Nigelo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2023 10:23 am Whooa, just caught up with the disappearing mfunc6.mac. I do not use an ATC BUT I do use a Custom mfunc6 with Swissi's ProbeApp.
Although we now know to set "Custom M6 Macro" in the ATC section, many other Users will not. Therefore suggest this is either moved to PREFERENCES section or duplicated

Re: Centroid CNC12 v5.07 REV12 BETA is now available.
I've had an issue with how an MPG responds with the wheel in some of the past beta's (a CWP-4 in my case)... https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 658#p74658 ...It seems to be even more pronounce with v5.07r12.
I do have a coupe of videos I can upload, but it's not as easy to tell the difference between the release and the latest beta with them. In person, it's quite evident that the beta is more jerky or jumpy, for lack of a better description. I've tried the various MPG settings from smooth to quick response and it's noticeable with all settings.
Is there anything that has been tweaked with how an MPG responds? Maybe it's just my 4+ year old CWP-4, but it's very noticeable right away with 5.07r12.

I've had the same issue with the MPG (MPG-6)... set to the smooth response.
At times, using the hand wheel, there is bit of a delay and jerky motion.

I noticed the same issue with 5.07r12, configured smoothing for 3D relief and seems to be better less jumpy. On my machine it was very noticeable with the speed at x100. I mainly use my WMPG4 for jogging, not the VCP, maybe I need to do more testing to determine if it's the WMPG4 or prevalent in both modes.Sword wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 6:24 pm I've had an issue with how an MPG responds with the wheel in some of the past beta's (a CWP-4 in my case)... https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 658#p74658 ...It seems to be even more pronounce with v5.07r12.

Experienced delayed movement with the WMPG-4 last night, no video, but not getting consistent performance. Movement was jerky, and intermittently delayed from WMPG-4 commands.

thanks, there have been no specific changes in WMPG motion in v5.07 beta, but we are looking into it to see if something else has effected it in some way.
doing test's today comparing v5.06 to v5.07 r13 beta.

Scott can I have a fresh report . Trying to pinpoint the R13 WMPG Motion over here.Sword wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 6:24 pm I've had an issue with how an MPG responds with the wheel in some of the past beta's (a CWP-4 in my case)... https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 658#p74658 ...It seems to be even more pronounce with v5.07r12.

I noticed that the 5.06 video has a faster MPG jogging rate than the R13 video. The R13 WMPG was jogged at a slower less consistent rate
