I noticed that the 5.06 video has a faster MPG jogging rate than the R13 video. The R13 WMPG was jogged at a slower less consistent rate
Sure, here ya go, 5.06 and 5.07r12.

Thanks Scott

I think I have it narrowed down to the 64 bit version being the difference.

Good, I'll be sure to compare when the next rev drops.

Yeah, I thought that the speed that I spun the dial was close to the same with each video recording, but it did seem different when watching/listening to it. ;)

One other item I noticed on the WMPG jogging is the setting for Z speed limit Zx100=Zx10 does not appear to limit to x10 after homing and prior to Z-zero .

The Z movement with the WMPG set on 100x is 100x speed until you touch off the z reference ( Bed or material ), then appears to function correctly limiting at Zx10.

I did install the 64 bit version on my machine. Reports in earlier post.

RogDC,

I have not been able to replicate the WMPG being able to jog at X100 for Z at any Point once the Wizard has been set to inhibit X100 for Z.

When you get a chance Please let me know if this is repeatable for you.

Joey,
I tested the WMPG more this afternoon. I tried to take a video but wasn't able to hold the phone while holding and operating the MPG. I'll try to explain what I validated today in testing.

With Z limit enabled in WMPG settings in Wizard,

When you use the jog -/+ buttons on the WMPG, the 100x moves Z axis at a higher rate of speed than the 10x, 10x moves at a higher rate of speed than 1x.

Using the wheel for jogging, the Z=100x = movement of Z=10X. When you use the jog buttons in 100x, it does not limit Z to the same speed as 10x. The jog buttons move Z at a higher rate than the wheel.

I can revert to 5.04 or 4.8x if necessary to validate the previous behavior, but do not recall having this issue with the jog buttons with Z-limit enabled previously. We typically use the jog buttons when zeroing to the bed or work surface of the router.

Prior to the installation of CNC12 v5.07r15 beta 64bit, using the jog buttons with setting of 100x or 10x, the movement would be at the same rate of speed in Z as 10x exhibiting the same behavior as the wheel.

Let me know if you are not able to reproduce, I can bring a tripod to set up for recording a video.

Fresh report attached.

Sword and RogDC,

thank you for your testing and reporting efforts! you have lead us to find out what is going on with the WMPG, as you know we have produced a 64 bit version on CNC12 for the first time and your WMPG observations lead us to the WMPG read rate in CNC12, it is set at a read rate that works just fine in 32 bit but not 64 bit, we have fixed that and have fixed the x10,x100 plus minus jog button lock out as well. hopefully i will post rev14 here by end of day tomorrow. -k

rev14 now available.

https://centroid-support.filemail.com/d ... 1305ef1a64

rev14 release notes.

-Fixed cnc12 missing wmpg sent packets in the 64 bit build
- WMPG will now properly set Fast/Slow Jog rate when X10 or X100 is selected and Z-X100Lockout Feature is enabled.
-Plasma Intercon: Improved dxf/svg import and determination of safe lead-in/out placements
-Plasma Intercon: Lead-outs support over cutting onto the beginning cut of a part
-Plasma Intercon: Lead-in and Lead-out are now controlled separately
-MPU will now reboot if a firmware update fails to install the first time, preventing error messages on startup
-Fixed bug where the mini dro and mini machine coordinates were not removed when returning to the CSR menu from MDI causing graphical bugs in other menus
-Defaulted parameter 3 to a value of 6 for Acorn and AcornSix router installs
-Added check to the installer to close any Windows Explorer Image (single running instance) that has a lock on any directory running out of cncm or cnct. This is intended to break hidden locks caused by the Windows system preventing the renaming (backup) of the current cnc12 install
-Fixed bug where "Increment Mode" was displayed incorrectly and inaccurately in the WCS origin menu when cycling through pages
-Fixed the probe stylus graphic becoming disproportional
-Parm 56, bit 0 (add 1) will apply an averaging filter to the feedrate display (does not affect the actual rate)
