Another small thing, the Wizard is deleting mfunc6.mac, but I use it with the fusion PP from swissi.
Also, the MpgClient.exe is now in the taskbar and runs in a visible Window, but not sure if this was the case too before...

Another user that is local to me that I have helped recently also told me his 5.06 is deleting the mfunc6.mac, I thought he was crazy but maybe not. He also stated that after making some changes in the wizard for a new tool touch off, switched from conductive to mechanical, it reverted back to the standard skin when he had been using the diagonal one.

Yesterday the MpgClient.exe disappeared from my mill, but maybe fatfinger caused
M6 is reliable deleted from the Wizard, if not selected custom VCP it makes some unwanted changes to the VCP Skin.

Yup, I'm familiar with the "custom VCP skin" toggle Uwe, I use it on every build as I'm always customizing something. I set his machine up and made the skin changes for him and set the custom VCP toggle. He said it just reverted back after he installed a new tool touch off. I wasn't there so I'm not 100% sure what else he might have did.
But the M6 issue is apparently real.

Even if you don't have an ATC, you still need to choose that you are using a custom M6 macro, otherwise it will be overwritten.
IMHO, if you have "None" set for ATC Type, you shouldn't have to set "Custom Macro in use" to Yes. It's been this way since ATC Setup was added to the Wizard, and I've just been automatically setting it to yes.

Maybe, maybe not. The same thing happened to one of my customers last week, running CNC12 v5.04 on an Oak system.suntravel wrote:Yesterday the MpgClient.exe disappeared from my mill, but maybe fatfinger caused

It wasn't overwritten Scott, he told me it disappeared all together. I'm going to stop over and see him on Thursday and see what's going on. He's close to my shop on my drive home.Sword wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 9:07 am Even if you don't have an ATC, you still need to choose that you are using a custom M6 macro, otherwise it will be overwritten.
