MPG hand wheel

Post by bleiler60 »

Hello,
The hand wheel on the MPG4 does not work when 10x & 100x are selected on all axis, works fine with 1x. This is with AcornSix/ Rev6.
All the other functions on the MPG work.
Reinstalled Rev4 to see if the MPG was faulty and it worked fine.

Thanks

Do you have a probe installed? It sounds like CNC12 thinks your probe is tripped preventing X10 and X100 movement.
Cheers,

Tom

Yes I have a probe & TT installed. The probe was not plugged in, only the TT. This issue started with the new rev6 release on the AcornSix, did not happen in rev4.

Thanks

Bill,

on my lathe it woks right 453 only if tripped when jogging.

Pls check if TT and Probe Tripped inputs are not on.

Forced Input, or state when tripped in the Wizard set wrong

Alt-I to see the Inputs on screen.

Here is a link for the screenshots.

When both the TP & TT are tripped the led in the upper left corner of the turtle icon turns on :?:
The probe & TT are wired correctly and working as they should using the PLC diagnostics.
Removed both from the wizard and the MPG works as it should.

The 453 error code has been displayed since I first installed AcornSix and has been, through every rev, but doesn't appear to have any negative impact on the operation of the machine.

Thanks

thanks,
the turtle icon turns on to let you know that since the probe is tripped the MPG only works in x1 (slow mode) so you don't continue to run the probe into what it is touching.
