While trying to run auto square when the K3 probe is unplugged the auto squaring routine stops and displays the 916 error code. Plug in the probe and auto square works. I'm using the Acorn Six board with the K3 Probe & TT-4 wired using the wiring diagram for the board. Using the PLC diagnostic screen everything seems be be working as it should.

Check the wiring/setup of the probe, it is tripped when unplugged

Here are the screenshots from the PLC diagnostics. The wiring to the board is correct, White to input 9 (Probe Signal); Red to input 10 (Probe Detect).

Input 9 should not change when plugged in or not, only if the probe triggers.

You wired Probe Tripped cable to Probe Detect input and Probe Detect cable to Probe Tripped input.

You can also try first to swap the inputs in the Wizard...

Tried swapping out the wiring, didn't work. Changed the inputs in the wizard same results.
Tried different inputs on the board, no luck. I think the Probe might be defective.

Tried using the cable that came with the TT-4, nothing changed, still can't run auto square/homing when the Probe is unplugged.

sorry for the confusion, probe is connected ok. Looks like on my mill with NC probe.

But I can not test autosquare, because I have no router.

I appreciate that you tried to solve this issue.
I'm probably going to contact Centroid tech to determine if the probe maybe defective, unless someone else can offer any advice as to why this isn't working.
