Kind of stupid that I needed a long time to discover that CNC12 backplot can be set up on the mill to show a rotary axis correctly

In my case 4th axis is A along X axis, so simply set:

P#94 to 2049
P#116 to 61 ( A axis center for Y axis from the WCS)
P#117 to 71 ( A axis center for Z axis from the WCS)

And now you have a nice 3D backplot with rotaty axis

I want this for the lathe also now...

I've been asking about this since January 2023. I have the Router Pro license with my rotary on the B axis. I couldn't never get a direct answer. Good to know.

In P93 there is no setting documented for "Along B-Axis" but P118 119 are for the B-Axis coordinates.

Maybe this all is for Centroids machines with articulated head, but give it a try.

I saw the P118 and P119 but was not sure to change anything for them. The manual wasn't exactly clear.

I made some tests, it seems that the 4 axis graph is only working with A-axis.....

Thank you for the verification. I think the P118 is the setting I needed. It wasn't clear since it mentioned Digi Probe and then mention X center for rotary. The manual needs for examples and illustration to references. Otherwise, you're reading all through the manual for something specific.

thanks,
fyi in the upcoming v5.1 we will increase the various scenarios (different axis labels and rotary orientations) for 4axis backplot with router and mill cnc12 g code backplot display.

This will be great. Definitely looking forward to seeing this.

we have a working alpha. would you be interested in putting in the time to alpha test?

Absolutely. Let me know what I need to do?
