I am wondering if it is normal when increasing the percentage of program speed for the initial entrance moves to be way higher. Almost like a rapid move rather than the rest of the cutting travel. This only seems to apply when the percentage is increased ? It is almost like the travel is trying to catch up to a look ahead position ?
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Setting higher percentage than program speed
Trying to understand what you are talking about. Is this about feedrate override?

Re: Setting higher percentage than program speed
Yes, sorry if I am not clear. When the program is run at the feedrate set in Fusion 360 manufacturing, the entry and start to follow the machining path is smooth and at the set feed rate. If the speed over ride on the Centroid control screen is increased the entry and first approx. inch of travel is way faster than the percentage of increase set. If no one else is seeing this, then it must be some kind of a setting I have wrong. I am using nema 34 steppers from Stepper online.

Re: Setting higher percentage than program speed
There is another thread about this in the main acorn forum.

Re: Setting higher percentage than program speed
I found the post about about the rapid override button. That seems to be about the opposite problem I am having. Can you be more specific about what post you are reffering to?
Thanks,
Scott
