Re: servo motor calibration
Several reasons Jeffery but we need much more info. Servo or stepper? Model number? Please post a report so we can see your setup. Start a Google photo album and post pics of the machine also. There's no possible way to know exactly without much more info.

Re: servo motor calibration
The Dip Switches on the Drives are all set the same at 3200 right?
It's hard to see in the Pictures what the Motor mounts and gearing looks like.
Can you throw up some picture of the X and Y motors and gearing?
The other X and Z are moving the correct amount?
Can you track how far the Motor is off while traveling across the table?
Here my top 3 causes of the issue.
1.Y axes overall turns ratio setting in the wizard is not correct.
2. Y axis pulses per revolution do not match the wizards setting of 3200 counts per revolution.
3. Y axes is loosing steps as it travels down the table

Re: servo motor calibration
Where do you have the drives wired to? These drives wire to the DB25 via a breakout board and not the Acorn headers. If wired to the headers you could be losing steps for sure. Please post more pics of the Acorn and the wiring. Post pics of the drive DIP switches and a link to the manual for the drives.
Please start a Google album so you can keep all the pics in one place and we don't have to search through all you posts to see the pics .
Per your report you're gonna need a lot of gear reduction on the X and Y axis. Your turns ratios are very low for plasma.
Have you seen this post? The info is in the plasma install manual.
