when cutting heavy plate no THC is there a way to raise Z axis up or down during cutting . if not an option would really... help heavy slag on piercing . raising lowering would help .

That would definitely come in handy when THC is not enabled. And I think that would be much needed for OXY applications also.

Yes oxy would need manual control along with 2 air on control and 1 gas on plus speed control . lot oxy users out there . nothing like propene cutting oxi 2 inch plate . i used mine the other day on some inch half to thick for plasma . manual torch .

Joey have you tried cutting some 1 inch plate . i tried to use the thc it just responded buy lifting my torch to high . lost the cut . i found the thick steel the voltage just nt as steady . i tried to lower the torch buy using the voltage adjust on screen buy buy then i already lost cut had to restart in the pierce then turn off the thc , that when i discovered theirs no way to control the Z axis manually .

I've cut 3/4" inch steel Caterpillar excavator tracks with my machine and never tried the THC. It cut great with no THC. I was just cutting 1" holes in the tracks so THC wasn't really needed.

I agree with Shawn there. When I cut really thick steel like greater than half inch. The only times I really turn on THC is maybe on a straight away just to re adjust the torch height and make sure it's at the same level. But that's usually on big parts.

Good to see auto button on the WMPG really comes in handy for just turning on THC on a straight away and turning it off. I'm never turning it on in a corner or any weird part feature

For slow feed rate jobs anti-dive never really kicks in on corners or anything because the feed rate doesn't have to slow down for any part features. Also going over slag or coming around sharp corners with THC can read a higher voltage and react.

Yes Joey, all my real thick stuff is small and I know the part is flat as are my table slats. No need for THC. I've not cut any large, THICK parts with the plasma. Why? because I dont want to have to load that heavy sheet onto the table. :D
