Comparable? Im in Australia clearpaths vs ...
Hi all, ive noticed the plasma cnc guys run the clearpath servos which i like the sound of, however im in Australia and anything usa related ends up more than double in price when it gets here.... so do you think these are comparable in performance etc cheers for any feedback

not comparable,
clearpath's are much smoother, faster and more powerful for the same physical size
36 volts nominal? pretty low power, at least it looks like they have an encoder so less likely to loss position like an open loop stepper.
so i'd say these would be better than a run of the mill open loop stepper, but not close to the clearpath
also, running long step and direction cables all the way out to the motor (rather than just power) could open the system up to all kinds of issues on a plasma machine if it is not done correctly. (twisted pair shielded wire with drain)
