Also is there an option to make another cnc12 profile?
I need one cnc12 profile only for sheets, and another cnc12 profile for only tube and pipe cutting.
The configuration in wizard will be different from one profile to the other.
Such as axis configuration and travel..
Is there any way to do it without going to wizard all the time?
Just to have two separate cnc12 profiles.
1. Cnc12 plasma rotary tube cutting .
2. Cnc12 plasma sheet cutting.

We are having the same issue with the Z position doing wierd things when THC is active. It was worse with soft limits enabled on the Z but still does it without the limits... Definitely not losing steps or have a coupler slipping. With the safe height set to .5" after a few cuts you do a touch off and it retracts to .3" or so when it should have gone to .5" and the Z zero is above the material by the offset between the correct safe height and current safe height? Weird and frustrating.

This error in machine coordinates leads to a bad pierce followed by an Ohmic fail, backup to the float which is now offset and it just drags the nozzle along the material while trying to cut.

What version software are you on?

I'll post in my own thread and upload the report in the morning, it's been a long day of messing with this.

I've download the latest version of cnc12 today and ive managed to fix the steps losing mostly by changing the thc settings.
Now when the program run it retracts fine but if i pause the program or the program stops because the torch didn't fire or something similar i can't start the program again and its telling me z axis position lost or that the block on the program didn't found.
Also its causing some glitch to cnc12 for some reason and the icons like wizard disappear and I have to restart cnc12.

Tamar,
I've sent a file mail link to your Gmail for our latest beta build before the next release. This Should take care of the Machine Z coordinate with THC and the touch off WC.

Hey so I tried the beta version 5.05 of cnc12 that you've sent me, so far it works goods and the z axis is able to keep its position, and no steps are being lost 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I've attached a video below, please take a look.

Hey guys, so I tried a tube "cut" with the laser sensor and the new beta version 5.05 cnc12 and its able to follow the tube in high speed really good!!

Attaching a short video of it bellow

Hey here is an update on cnc12 5.05 beta .
I did a thc calibration today for the plasma and for some reason its again losing steps.

In the previous post that I did with the laser sensor I also did a thc calibration for it and it works goods, but for some reason when I did a thc calibration for the plasma and tried to cut square tube its losing steps 🤷🏽‍♂️.

After i finished with the testing of thr laser sensor with thc and the new beta version I did reset the thc calibration and only after that I did the thc calibration again for the plasma.
I also verified before trying to cut square tubes that the thc calibration was successful by cutting some parts from some sheet and the thc works good but when it comes to square tubes it seems that its still a problem.

Hey there, sorry I haven't post any updates recently, I've been really busy.
Joey I've seen you're email, I will send you everything soon.

Here are couple of videos of the fiber laser build.

Thc sheet and square tube simulations:

1. Sheet

2. Square tube failure/torch collision

3. Square tube successful

4. New cable chain with bigger bending radius for the fiber laser cable.

5. Pipes connections

Please don't mind all the mess, I've organised everything and also I'm planning to make a new control cabinet.
