I have recently upgraded my 48x96 ShopBot to Acorn and now am seriously considering taking half my surface area and converting it to a plasma table.

I am looking for some pointers on where to get started with the Acorn Part.

I guess my main question is can I just add the extra boards and use my acorn board to drive my CNC Router and also a CNC Plasma?

Since I will share the same x,y and z drives, seems like it might work.

Yes you can run Acorn Router and Acorn Plasma from the same Acorn/Machine. There is also a Desktop Switch icon that once set, can be used to easily switch between software versions by selecting the Swap icon on the Desktop.
