At which point this the torch dive? You may need to increase your THC delay if the torch was to low at the beginning of the cut. A common one is the THC to react during a tight circle. If that's the case. Tune your THC by adjusting your. THC Config settings. To start adjust the Velocity anti dive? " I'm not at my PC ATM" Default is set to 90percent. Turn that up to 95-98. What kind of motors and drives are you running?

The z dove about an 1/8 from completing the part on an outside perimeter cut. Running cheap stepper online steppers and gecko 203v drives.

Was the cut icrossing the lead in? The 7 percent hysteresis number in the THC config menu. Enacts anti dive when there a spike in voltage. Crossing the lead in will spike the voltage. Some users insert THC off codes with their post-processor in corners and endpoints to prevent diving. But usually the THC config settings will catch the THC and prevent it from reacting to that voltage spike. The lower the hysteresis number, the less the THC will react to voltage spikes.
