Tru Cut A80 Thermal Dynamics Will It Work?

I have a Tru Cut series one table. They are out of business with very limited information on these.
I want to run the acorn system and get rid of the Mach 3 setup.
I have gecko drives for the motors and a Thermal Dynamics A80 plasma.
I’m open to any advice or suggestions.
Thanks

welcome to the forum. Can you post some pictures of the table? Specifically the Z axis and both sides of the Gantry. Really want to see the drive type on the gantry .

Any model numbers or information on the motors and drives?

The Thermal Dynamics A80 will certainly work for normal cutting operations. As far as the THC being compatable, I Haven't known anyone to hook the THC to a Thermal Dynamics cutter yet. Thermal Dynamics and Esab seem to be higher end systems and I'm assuming there divided voltage output is clean.

Starting a Google photo album is usually the best way to share images.

I’ve tried a couple of different ways and can’t get it to work.

Start an album here and share the album and post a link to it for us to see it.

answer: maybe. Thermal Dynamics are good units. If you are careful in measuring the analog output of the TD unit to verify that it is outputting clean 0-10 vdc torch voltage with no grounding issue / voltage leaks before connecting to the TX board it might work.

Should I upgrade my Gecko drives to the Gecko Raptor drives when I install the Acorn?
My drives are from 2012 I'm assuming the newer drives have improvements.
