It's looking better than what it was but there still a lot of interference.

When working with Fisher he brought up issues with the THC. Uppon looking at is plots we saw plenty of interference getting to his TX Board. Previous plots showed bad THC readings due to the interference and it's amazing the THC worked at all previously for him.

Fisher unplugged his motors while we were looking at the PID Plot and the interference disappeared. So it looks like the interference is coming from the motors or are at least affiliated with the motors

Yes much appreciated just need to figure out why there is still interference coming from the drive motors, I am plugged the grounded, shield wires, and got it greatly reduced not sure if anyone else has any input to get it better

So it improved with shields disconnected?

Yes maybe bob should be the one answering so I don’t get it wrong but I’ll include pictures. The wires coming out of the plugs that connect to my control box where went to ground I unplugged those per bobs request after I talked to him about issue we found and the interference went down a lot, but it sounds like it should be better

Starting a new thread is a good idea. Please post lots of picture of the machine and the cabinet. I'm thinking there a ground loop. Is the a ground that connects the table to the cabinet?

Here is a picture of the cabinet. Drive cables look to be pretty close to the TX? Possibly move the TX? Try Mounting the TX outside the Cabinet just to see if there's a difference?

I do have the box grounded to same 8’ grounding rod as table. Is that bad?

No that's a good thing. Have you had any luck finding the ground loop? Can you try having a straight connection from the drives to your motors? The connector on the cabinet has been known to cause interference for some builds. It's best to have one complete cable all the way from the drives to the motor instead of an inside the cabinet cable connected to an outside of the cabinet cable.
