Joey,
I’m trying to use a primeweld plasma cutter that has a Cnc port with 50:1 voltage. I see you mentioned the voltage should not be above 10 volts. Do you know the max current the tx board can handle? I read 2.5 volts but if the current is too high I don’t want to blow another tx board!

Also is there a board you could recommend that we could put before the input on the tx 50:1 for overcurrent protection? I think since so many boards have been burnt because of non-hypertherm maybe we could put some type of protection before the input on the tx board?

Thoughts?

I answered my own question, I see you have done testing with the primeweld and it’s to loud of a signal. So I won’t buy that plasma to see if it works cause it seems you already tested it.

We have tested the Po labs board with the Prime Weld Cut 60 (there latest generation of Cut 60) without success.
I haven't heard of any voltage divider board success's yet for use with Prime Weld Cut 60.

Use a Hypertherm for success.

Hey there its me again.
Happy to announce that my plasma is working great with the thc for two months now.
To make it work I've purchased a voltage divider because the voltage divider in my Chinese plasma was giving me a lot of trouble, and purchased another tx board cause I've destroyed the voltage reading of the previous one, and that did the work!
I would like to thank you guys for the help! Couldn't do it without you all! 🙏🏻

I have a question... the tx board voltage reading, what type of signal does it reads? Is it an analog signal? Or digital signal?

Wow you finally did it! Please share what voltage divider card you used. And please post a fresh report. I would like to look at the plots from the THC.

I think you might be the first customer to be running a Chinese cutter with our THC!. Congratulations!!!
