Plasma swap from Mill to Plasma software

Post by Glabs »

Custom build cnc plasma running acorn mill software. My question is will I lose all my settings in the setup wizard when i swap to the plasma software? if so is there a way to make this swap easier? save my settings etc? Thanks in advance, Couldn't find a post about this, if there is , please post it here.

yes, there is a swapping utility included with the Plasma v4.80 installer.

c:\cncm\resources\plasmaRouterSwap

SETUP:
Install Plasma
Setup Plasma
Rename cncm directory to cncm-plasma
Install Router
Setup Router
Copy "Plasma Router Swap.exe" to your desktop

USAGE:
Shut down cnc12 (and anything else running out of the cncm directory)
Double click "Plasma Router Swap.exe" on your desktop
- This will rename the cncm directory to cncm-router (or cncm-plasma)
- This will rename the cncm-plasma directory (or cncm-router directory) to cncm
- This will launch cnc12

NOTES:
Nothing can be running out of the cncm directory when "Plasma Router Swap.exe" is run
Ensure that the cncm-plasma and cncm-router directories do not both exist at the same time and that you have a cncm directory
