Sheetcam Circles and Arcs path rules

why on sheetcam path rules the small circles are not recognized as circles but as arcs. I have extreme federate differences for testing reasons. I’ve drawn this in Fusion and in inkscape. i get same results Any tips on how to draw a circle and sheetcam recognize it as a circle???

Umm, a circle is four arcs. That's how they are drawn in AutoCAD and Vectric software also.

agree but…. i make a arc rule and it works on the circles but also works on rounded corner and such. i want circles to be alittle slower. So I need sheetcam to recognize circles not just arcs.

Have you made a rule for small circles? You can set the minimum diameter as well. I don’t use sheetcam so I don’t know all the commands. I assume it’s in the manual. For me, I put all small circles on their own layer and create a tool path just for small circles and run that at 60% of the book speed feedrate.

I have made a rule for small circles. But I think I will take your advise and put them on another layer with its own rules.
