ohmic test not reading

Post by AtomicAsian »

I’m still setting up and wanted to test the ohmic
wired to T in and input 9.
Alt i “diagnostics” 9 won’t light up when i move Z down to touch material.
the plasma is not connected yet. waiting on interface cable.
I ohm out tip to other end of wire to check for breakage. All good there.
what am I missing.

The material clamp needs connected and pin 6 of the Hypertherm CNC communication pins needs to be connected. The Torch touch runs from the "T in" connection on the TX Board through the material clamp and then back to the TX via the positive of the Divided voltage pins from the Hypertherm. Pin 6 is the positive of the Divided voltage and has continuity to the material clamp. Hope that helps.
