Hey Everyone,
I am getting ready to pull the trigger on this but just had a couple questions. What is everyone running for an electrical enclosure size? From a few pics it looks like 20x20 or 24x24. I would like to get hopefully everything ordered up front so when I start going I am not waiting for parts.
I am replacing a CandCnc blade runner system. They have a seperate fan in the box, anyone else running cooling fans?
TIA!

Re: Electrical Enclosure Size?
There is no set cabinet size. No two drives, power supplies and controls are the same size. Gather all your components up and place them on a table the way you want them in the enclosure with plenty of room for wiring duct, equipment spacing and some wiggle room. Then simply measure the perimeter of the components to get your proper cabinet size. Then buy the next size up, you'll be glad you did. This is not one of those "one size fits all" kind of things.

Yea that is a pretty good point. It makes the most sense to do it that route, thanks!

Re: Electrical Enclosure Size?
designee would depend on your motor drives power supply. in my case i used 16x16 8 inch deep on some past builds with gecko drives . Cooling fan
i think i used 20 x20 8 on acorn build . like Shawn said lay it out on table first come up with a layout that wont be to tight to wire or fix
