is there a way to add a feature for plate alignment
Meaning say i have a plate that i need to cut part out of .But the spot to fit part is not square

So 2 positions would be needed first would have X Y second X Y settings

you simply jog to the first spot push button x y go in then second spot jog to x y push that setting go in

now the torch cut the part on the steel that not square . like if open spot 45 deg part will cut to fit

This is for cutting parts out of scrap sheets were some leftover spots are on the steel .
rather the do part orientation in sheet cam . im asking how to do this on screen

thees are function i can do with neuron uccnc screen and flash cut

the yellow mark in video is the torch jog position

UCCNC video showing what i mean https://photos.app.goo.gl/PnknRbYMamJVyCyQ9

thanks jeff c

yeah, its called coordinate system rotation. aka " CSR"

we can build a macro to step the operator through the UX you have described.

for now you can measure and/or set the angle you want to rotate the job in the part setup menu.
here is how to get to the menu to enter the angle.

F1 Setup, F1 Part, F8 WCS table, F2 Origin and then enter the angle you want to rotate X and Y to.

Has Centroid worked on a macro for this. I see in milling where you use a probe. I think in plasma if the macro vcp button marks each corner of selected axis ie: y+ / y- it then can use the those button pushes to emulate the " probing " in mill.
