Thanks.
The drivers are all to 0 now, I had to remove an intermediate cable that is meant to go through the box panel, will fix that problem later, for now they all power up but won't move, can't turn the screws.
So if my pins are all set correctly, and wires are all correct, when I jog the axis it should give motion, but nada.

Have you tried jogging them from the drive's front panel controls? It would be fn02.

I get only a 1.38V on the Z-direction out of Acorn, 24v out of pulse, all the time, pressed or not.
I get a 1.2V dir and 1.3v pulse on the Y-direction, all the time.
I get a 22.3v dir and 22v pulse on the X-direction, all the time.
On jog directly from driver, I get E, operation failed for all axis.

Could it be Sig1In, pin 6 in the DB25, which is servo enable?
Does this need to have 24v when the jog is fired?
Where should that come from? The Ena for each drive does not seem to do much.
I guess that is what pin 3 set to 1 does, is enable the drive all the time.

The X-dir should not be 24v. I disconnected it and it is 24v at the BOB for the db25 to the driver.
there is no short I can see. Nothing has happened to the X-axis that should suggest an internal problem.
The question is why is this at 24v when the other two dir are ~1.2v?

I guess that is what pin 3 set to 1 does, is enable the drive all the time.

I took another look in the manual you provided and it seems like it cannot jog from the front panel while enabled so please change parameter 3 back to 0 and try jogging from the drive front panel again. If that does not work, disconnect the DB25 breakout from the drive and try again. It may be checking for power or any hints of a connection and blocking the jog operation. The manual states the following about when you get an error display while trying to jog:
1: the motor is in the enabling or rotating state. The motor must be in a non working state prior to the JOG commissioning operation. During commissioning, the servo driver control interface does not receive any control lines.

If it moves then go ahead and wire the corresponding axis enable signal from Acorn to CN2 pin 6 (SigIn1) and try jogging that axis from Acorn.

You can invert the Acorn's enable outputs in the Wizard if you find that the drive is not enabled when the Acorn tries to enable. The Acorn's enable outputs are open collector so they need a pull up. These drives have an internal pull up that uses the 24V wired to the drive on CN2 pins 9 and 10. All you need to do for wiring this is run a wire from the ENx pins on the Acorn screw terminals to pin 6 on the drive DB25 breakouts.

Regarding the voltage differences: The X-dir (CN2 pin 5) should be 24 volts at CN2 with nothing wired to CN2 pin 5 because you have 24V wired to the Open Collector Pulse Input Power terminal on CN2 pin 2. If the breakout is disconnected from the drive then I have no idea why there would be any readable voltage there.

Thanks, again.
Ok turning off pin 3 works to allow the motor to turn with panel jogging.
But connecting Ena 3 to pin 6 in the DB25 BOB for the Z-axis did not work. I also switched the enable signal in the Wizard, a picture is also avail for that.
But the Z jog through Acorn is not working still, with pin 3 off. Turned the pin 3 on again, still doesn't work, have pic for Ena is red wire.

Do the X or Y move from Acorn control? If so, then make sure the Z enable is set the same way as the X and Y. Regardless, I'd focus on the motors without brakes first.

Are those pictures you mentioned in the google photos album? I don't see them there.

If the motors were running in the bench test, then it very much seems like a wiring problem.
Cheers,
