Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
i think the easy way to do this remove the thc unit just use acorn that way sheet cam can control z axis 100 percent no thc needed on tube cutters

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
Joey,
I think was I need is a Macro that will do a z reference(this I have), then in sheetcam do a matZ zero with the Gcode. After that we need a macro that does the pierce cycle with no reference to "pierce height" and looks for the torch ok signal to continue to the next line of code. All of this with THC off.

Hey there I'm joining in this discussion cause I'm looking for sheetcam post processor for rotary plasma.
Any luck?

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
Can someone help me with the post processor?
Is there a post processor for sheetcam that can support rotary plasma?

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
I apologize for not having any updates, life has been busy. I have one that is working , but I had to create custom macros to go along with it. I'll be honest it might not be the prettiest or the most efficient but for the few cuts I have done it seems to be working.

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
This is the post processor that les from sheetcam made for me.
The rotary axis is B.
and the post is also switching between the X axis and the Y axis.
This post is working with the THC.

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
I Didn't hear back from Les after Friday so I was hoping that meant good things!
Nice success video! Can you share some more videos of the rotary working and post a report so we can see your wizard settings. A couple non sped up clips would be nice also
Thanks for your efforts Tamar!

Can you Compress the sheet Cam post file and post that? I'm having trouble importing the Post in txt format?

Re: Sheetcam Rotary Postprocessor info/discussion
Here are more videos of the rotary cutting with normal speed and the post compressed file.
I've made today a new prototype rotary attachment cause the previous one wasn't accurate enough.
In about a month I will receive all the fiber laser equipment and then the games will really begin
