ARC in Intercon gives an error

Hello,
We are trying to mill an outside circle with the ARC module in Intercon. In the ARC we choose CP & A.
We start with a straight G0 movement outside the workpiece and connect the ARC to the G0.
After posting we keep getting stuck in module N0001 on lines 13 (M41) and 15 (M40).
As far as I understand, these M codes relate to the spindle speed, and the error message (Turn off/on Z axis MPG mode) has nothing to do with this (see photo).
As a 2nd test, we called up an M40 and M41 via MDI and that gave an error [503 Invalid M function] (see photo).
The spindle motor has only 1 speed.
Please help
