I have found that is typical behavior with CNC10 v2.3x when reading my field-work USB drive, which contains over 400 folders. Well, not "forever", but often a minute or two.

CNC10 v2.7x has no problem reading the same USB drive promptly. CNC10 v2.7x uses a newer Linux kernel.

I do not recall seeing significant delays with CNC10 v2.3x reading its own hard drive / flash card, nor reading a USB drive that contains just a handful of items.

Thanks for the reply Marc and Keith.

It started when we changed the motherboard. We are using the same flash harddrive Centroid supplied. I don't know the Linux OS at all. I'll check the directory and see if any large files are slowing up. What the best method for checking a Linux harddrive for corruption?

Thanks for your time,

Rob
